O VMA 2026 aconteceu neste domingo (27) no Peacock Theater, em Los Angeles, e Madonna foi a grande vencedora da noite. Maior indicada com 13 nomeações, a rainha do pop levou 7 prêmios para casa, incluindo Artista do Ano e Melhor Vídeo de Longo Formato por “Confessions II – The Film”.

Taylor Swift ficou em segundo lugar com 3 prêmios, sendo dois em categorias competitivas: Vídeo do Ano por “The Fate of Ophelia” e Melhor Direção de Arte pelo mesmo clipe, além do honorário Artist Director Honors. O BTS também somou 3 vitórias na noite, empatando com a americana.

No campo latino, Anitta estava indicada em Melhor Clipe Latino pela parceria com Shakira em “Choka Choka”, mas o prêmio foi para Bad Bunny com “Nuevayol”.
